Used 2019 Chevrolet Blazer for Sale nearColumbia, SC

How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer cost?

Prices have softened 9.02% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,248 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Generally — the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer earns a 4.29/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 10/10.

Drivers consistently praise its smooth ride, sporty performance, and advanced technology, and they also like the generous cargo and passenger space. The Blazer’s styling is another recurring theme, with owners calling out its stylish look and distinctive presence.

That lines up with the Blazer’s use case as a sporty, street-focused midsize 5-passenger crossover rather than a rugged utility vehicle. If you want something that feels more at home on pavement and still offers a strong personality, this model year fits that brief well.

Only 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective even if the vehicle itself has broad appeal.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4.29/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a vehicle that owners feel good about living with over time, especially because they praise its smooth ride, sporty performance, and advanced technology. That kind of feedback usually matters most when you’re trying to judge whether a used SUV will feel dependable after the honeymoon period.

The expert review also describes the Blazer as a capable machine that feels at home on the road, which supports the idea that it should be a confident daily driver if it has been maintained well. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about finding one that has been cared for and not worn down by neglected maintenance or heavy use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chevrolet Blazer?

At 68.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Pay close attention to body condition, wheel and tire wear, and any signs that the vehicle has been repaired after a collision.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base L trim is the one to watch most closely because it misses out on blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, while RS and Premier are the starting point for more advanced driver-assistance features.
• Powertrain: The standard 193-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder with a 9-speed automatic is described as adequate for flat areas and lighter use, while the 305-hp 3.6-liter V6 and AWD bring stronger acceleration and more confident all-weather performance.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on every Blazer except the standard L trim, while adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist require RS or Premier trim as a starting point.
• Infotainment: Chevrolet’s infotainment system is described as responsive and attractive, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support implied by the review, but the test vehicle had navigation-map loading issues and voice-recognition hiccups.
• Fuel efficiency: The review says the V6 and AWD setup carries a fuel-economy penalty, and the test vehicle was rated at 21 mpg in combined driving by the EPA.

Which 2019 Chevrolet Blazer trim should I buy?

The 2019 Chevrolet Blazer is offered in 4 trim levels: L, LT, RS, Premier.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the entry point, but it’s also the trim where you miss out on blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, so it makes the least sense if safety equipment matters to you.
• LT: This is the best-value choice if you want the Blazer’s style and core road manners without jumping all the way to the pricier trims, though you still need to step up further for the more advanced driver-assistance features.
• RS: This is the starting point for the more advanced safety and driver-assistance features, so it’s the trim to target if you want a better-equipped Blazer with a sportier edge.
• Premier: This is the upscale choice, with the most premium-feeling presentation and the strongest fit if you want the Blazer’s style, comfort, and available equipment all in one package.

Safety-package note: blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are not included on the standard L trim, and the more advanced driver-assistance features start at RS or Premier.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Blazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,248 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.02% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,690, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $18,690 sits slightly below last year's $20,542.

That decline suggests the Blazer has softened in the used market, which can be a mixed signal for future sellers. On one hand, it means you may not see the same pricing strength that existed a year ago. On the other hand, a lower entry price can help keep the vehicle attractive to shoppers who want style and road manners without paying near-new money.

If the market continues to value the Blazer for its design and driving character, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than less distinctive rivals. Condition and equipment will matter a lot, especially because buyers in this segment tend to compare features closely.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.29/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer safe?

The 2019 Chevrolet Blazer does not have crash-test ratings cited in the available review material.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Teen Driver and Rear Seat Reminder come standard, which gives you some useful family-oriented protection features right away. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on every Blazer except the standard L trim, while adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist require RS or Premier trim as a starting point.

That trim-level split is the main safety caveat for used shoppers: if you want the more advanced driver-assistance tech, you need to shop higher in the lineup and verify that the specific vehicle actually has those options.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.29/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The expert review highlights its road-focused character, sporty personality, and strong design appeal.

The bottom line: The 2019 makes sense if you want the Blazer’s distinctive styling and road manners at a softer used price. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby years that offer more equipment for the money, but the 2019 remains the better pick if design and driving feel matter most to you.
