Like the 430i, it comes with an 8-speed automatic and standard rear-wheel drive (RWD) or optional xDrive. The 440i gets you to 60 mph in as few as 4.6 seconds with xDrive. Standard features across the 4 Series range include LED headlights and fog lights, dual-zone automatic climate control, 18-inch wheels, 10-way power front seats, leatherette upholstery, a 205-watt sound system, keyless start, an 8.8-inch infotainment system, navigation, a 1-year Apple CarPlay trial, a garage-door opener, and memory settings. You can then choose options like heated front seats, adaptive LED headlights, and premium seats. As far as safety, the 4 Series gets rain-sensing windshield wipers, front and rear parking sensors, and a reversing camera. Available features consist of forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, a surround-view camera, and a head-up display (HUD). The 4 Series has not been evaluated for safety by either the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
