Is the 2019 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Audi Q5 earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise its luxurious feel, comfortable ride, and ample features, and many also like its practicality and stylish design. It fits especially well if you want a premium midsize SUV with a roomy cabin and a polished everyday driving experience. Is the 2019 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also highlights a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers, with praise centered on the Q5’s refined character and comfortable daily use. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and condition, since long-term ownership risk depends heavily on how each individual vehicle was cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi Q5?

At 70.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of uneven wear, repair quality, or lingering issues from past incidents. Focus on overall condition, service records, and how well the vehicle has been maintained, since those factors matter more when the market includes a sizable share of accident-affected listings.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi Q5?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,937 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.33% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 70.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,187, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $17,187 sits slightly below last year's $19,604.

That softer pricing suggests the Q5 has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market. If prices stay near this level, resale value will likely depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal because the Q5’s premium image and practical layout remain attractive to shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 70.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $15,330, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $17,187 average.
• It brings a redesigned package with broader technology and more interior room.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want the stronger current-market value story and high owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the better price-sensitive alternative and still offers a compelling all-around luxury-SUV package.
