Is the 2019 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 4.89/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, ample features, comfortable ride, stylish design, and practicality, while also noting that it works well as a family vehicle. In everyday use, that lines up with the Q5’s roomy interior, large trunk, and comfort-focused character. Is the 2019 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.89/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with repeated praise for its comfortable ride, practical layout, and overall refinement. Reviewers describe it as a solid choice for families, and that kind of consistent satisfaction usually matters more than flash when you’re planning to keep a used SUV for years. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s appeal and more about making sure a specific example has been maintained well.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi Q5?

At 72.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on body condition, signs of repair, and overall wear. Because this model is a premium SUV, you’ll want to pay close attention to how well the interior, electronics, and exterior finish have held up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi Q5?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,827 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.26% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,626, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $17,629 sits slightly below last year's $20,092.

That decline suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you own one and plan to sell later, the current trend shows that value has softened, so timing and condition will matter. A well-kept example should still attract interest because shoppers in this segment tend to respond to premium features, comfort, and a strong ownership reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.89/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.89/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $15,463, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $17,629 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more sophisticated package with added room and updated technology.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and inventory, the 2019 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the smarter value play, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
