Used 2018 Toyota Sienna for Sale near Tennessee

How much does the 2018 Toyota Sienna cost?

Prices have softened 2.66% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,266 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Generally — the 2018 Toyota Sienna earns 4.4/5 from owners and 7.17/10 from our experts. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Cost effectiveness.

Drivers consistently praise its spaciousness, reliability, and all-wheel drive capability, and many also like its stylish design. That lines up with the Sienna’s family-first mission in the overview: it is built to make hauling kids and cargo easier, and it especially stands out if you want available all-wheel drive. Some shoppers do wish it offered more features for the price, but the market still shows 32.0% of listings as good or great deals.

Is the 2018 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to spaciousness, reliability, and a practical, trouble-free ownership experience, while the expert commentary also describes a deserved reputation for dependability. Toyota’s free scheduled maintenance for the first 2 years or 25,000 miles adds a useful ownership perk, and that kind of support can help reduce early maintenance costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you should still verify condition carefully, since age, mileage, and prior use matter even on a model with a strong dependability reputation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Toyota Sienna?

At 54.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are comparing multiple listings at similar prices. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the vehicle’s equipment and operation match the seller’s description. If you are shopping for a family hauler, it is worth paying extra attention to how the cabin, safety equipment, and convenience features have held up.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Toyota’s lineup includes a sport-tuned SE trim level, and the base L trim gets a Scout connected navigation system and more USB ports. The SE adds a mesh grille, darkened headlights, rocker panel skirts, special taillights, unique instrumentation, black leather seats with white exposed stitching, and sport-tuned steering and suspension, while the Limited can add premium tech such as a JBL sound system and surround-view monitoring.
• Powertrain: The Sienna uses a 3.5-liter V6 with 296 horsepower and an 8-speed automatic. AWD is available only on LE, XLE, and Limited trims, so if all-wheel drive matters to you, you need to shop those versions specifically.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on SE and standard on XLE and Limited.
• Infotainment: The base L trim gets a Scout connected navigation system and more USB ports, while all trims except the L have Safety Connect subscription services and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not offered.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert test loop returned 18.9 mpg, versus an EPA estimate of 22 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2018 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2018 Toyota Sienna is offered in 5 trim levels: L, LE, SE, XLE, Limited.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the entry point, but it still gets a Scout connected navigation system and more USB ports, so it is the most basic way to get into the Sienna without losing the core family-hauling mission.
• LE: This is the trim to focus on if you want the best-value path to the Sienna’s strengths, especially because AWD is available here and it keeps the model’s practical family focus intact.
• SE: Choose this if you want the sportier look and feel, along with the sport-tuned steering and suspension, unique cabin details, and the option to add rear-seat entertainment.
• XLE: This is the more comfort- and convenience-oriented choice, and it also gets blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as standard.
• Limited: This is the most feature-rich version, with premium tech options such as the JBL audio system and surround-view monitoring, plus standard blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

The safety-package note is simple: Toyota Safety Sense is standard across the lineup, while blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on XLE and Limited and available on SE.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Toyota Sienna?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,266 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.66% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,450, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $21,631 sits slightly below last year's $22,222.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. The Sienna’s broad family appeal and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2018 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2018 Toyota Sienna does not earn a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS, and it gets an Acceptable result in the driver’s-side small overlap frontal test. In federal testing, it earns a four-star frontal-impact rating from NHTSA, and side-impact protection is not rated.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard, and it includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Safety Connect is also included on most versions, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is available on SE and standard on XLE and Limited.

The main caveat is that the crash-test results are weaker than some rivals, so if safety is your top priority, you should pay close attention to trim, equipment, and overall condition.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2018 model year adds standard Toyota Safety Sense and updated infotainment changes that make it a more modern pick than earlier versions.

The bottom line: If you want a used Sienna with standard driver-assistance tech, available AWD, and strong owner satisfaction, the 2018 is a sensible year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can still shop carefully and look for a well-kept example near the low end of the range, but the 2018 is the better fit when you want a balanced mix of value, practicality, and updated equipment.
