Why it stands out
The 2018 Toyota 4Runner is a standout in the midsize SUV segment, appealing to buyers who prioritize off-road capabilities and dependability. With a robust body-on-frame construction and a legacy of reliability, it combines traditional SUV features with enough modern updates to stay relevant. This generation of 4Runner has seen continuous improvement, adding safety technology and modern conveniences like wireless Apple CarPlay. Though it may lack the sleekest modern design and some contemporary tech features found in newer models, its reputation for durability and off-road prowess remains unmatched. Drivers appreciate its versatility and capability to tackle rugged terrains, which enhances its appeal for adventure seekers. However, potential buyers should consider its average fuel economy and the fact that 4WD isn't standard across all variants.

This is a very nice vehicle, the one thing I wish this car did have, was a keyless start, but that’s not a deal breaker

Always an excellent vehicle. Hands down unbeatable in the snow and one of the, by far, best 4x4 systems on the planet. Highly recommend trying one out. The wheels will fall off before the engine or transmission quits... just sayin..

This car has everything, my dream car. Only downside is the demand for the car is so high and the gas mileage is average. But with that size of a car you can’t have it all.
