How much does the 2018 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 5.42% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 684 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2018 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its performance, features, and handling, and many specifically like the power and acceleration it delivers. That lines up well with its role as a midsize premium sedan for you if you want a well-equipped luxury car with a straightforward, familiar feel rather than a heavily reworked design. 26.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as dependable in the ways that matter most to them, especially when it comes to performance and day-to-day enjoyment. The recurring praise for its power, features, and handling suggests a car that many owners feel confident living with over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure you choose a well-kept example, since condition and maintenance history will matter more than the model’s broad reputation alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 INFINITI Q50?

At 47.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate cleaner examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage or lower-priced listing. Focus on overall condition, repair quality, and how well the car’s features and electronics work, since those details will matter most in a used luxury sedan.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 INFINITI Q50?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 26.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 684 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.42% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 47.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,072, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $16,100 sits slightly below last year's $17,023.

That tells you the market has softened, which can help you as a buyer now but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of that depreciation. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers who want a premium sedan with strong performance and good equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 26.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 47.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a strong choice if you want a well-equipped luxury sedan with a favorable price trend and solid owner satisfaction. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-priced listing rather than the model year alone.
