How much does the 2018 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 4.48% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 687 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2018 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its performance, features, and handling, and many specifically like the power and acceleration it delivers. That fits the model’s role as a midsize premium sedan for you if you want a luxury car that emphasizes value, equipment, and a more performance-focused driving experience. With 28.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with drivers highlighting the car’s performance and overall appeal over time. That said, some owners note that the ride can feel less comfortable and the technology can seem dated, so you should weigh those tradeoffs against the car’s strong reputation for value and durability. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is ending up with a higher-mileage example that has been maintained inconsistently, so condition and service history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 INFINITI Q50?

At 46.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, since accident history can affect both value and long-term ownership confidence. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on bodywork quality, signs of prior repair, and whether the car’s features and electronics are functioning properly. Because this model is valued for performance and equipment, you’ll want to pay close attention to overall condition rather than just mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 INFINITI Q50?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 687 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.48% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 46.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,073, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $16,165 sits slightly below last year's $16,924.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to stay competitive on condition and mileage. Because the Q50 is still appealing to shoppers who want performance and value, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones. If you maintain the car well and keep service records, you improve your odds of holding onto stronger resale appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 46.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2018 if you want a well-liked, value-oriented luxury sedan and you’re comfortable shopping carefully for condition. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 remains a strong primary target because it balances owner satisfaction, current pricing, and inventory availability.
