Why it stands out
The 2018 GMC Terrain distinguishes itself with a stylish redesign that aims to appeal to a broader audience. However, the changes also resulted in a departure from the bold, rugged aesthetics that previously defined the model. This compact SUV's strengths lie in its comfortable interior and the variety of engines available, ranging from fuel-efficient options to more powerful turbocharged variants. The handling is commendable, with a responsive steering system, but potential buyers should approach the base engine with caution due to performance concerns. The Terrain's rating of 4.71 / 5 stars from users reflects a generally positive ownership experience, particularly regarding comfort and features, though some limitations in safety ratings and interior material quality have been noted. Expert opinions indicate that the Terrain may falter in value compared to rivals, especially concerning price and safety performance.

It’s the Denali so it has everything you need plus more. Only thing that would make it better would be a V6 but this 2.0 turbo has major get up and go.

The car is amazing and of great value. We purchased this vehicle for under the market value and it is in excellent condition. I did a thorough walk around and probably looked like an idiot looking for the smallest dents and scratches. The vehicle has great options, panoramic roof and good quality materials, especially for the price. What a steal my wife got!!!!

This car exceeded my highest expectations. Very nice ride, appropriate amount of room and has a very sporty feel. Has a lot of extra features that make it over all a very nice care. The push gear buttons will take some time to get use to but over all very very cool.

I like the car, but the brakes are a little sensitive and the pick-up (from a stop) can be jerky. Otherwise, it is smooth, comfortable, and a quiet ride.
