Why it stands out
The 2018 GMC Terrain marks a significant redesign, pivoting from its previously bold and boxy styling to a more conservative look that has met with mixed reviews. While some appreciate the updated appearance, others feel it lacks the distinctive flair that once set it apart in the competitive compact SUV market. Notably, the Terrain offers a choice between three turbocharged engines, including a powerful 2.0-liter option that delivers impressive performance compared to its smaller counterparts. Inside, improvements to material quality and control layout have been made, enhancing the overall feel and utility of the cabin. However, criticisms arise regarding its rear seat space and cargo capacity when compared to rivals like the Honda CR-V. Expert reviews suggest that while the Terrain drives pleasantly, its safety ratings fall short of expectations, particularly for family-oriented buyers. Ultimately, the 2018 Terrain appeals to those seeking a comfortable ride and a flexible array of features, but potential buyers should weigh its strengths against its limitations in safety and value.

It’s the Denali so it has everything you need plus more. Only thing that would make it better would be a V6 but this 2.0 turbo has major get up and go.

The car is amazing and of great value. We purchased this vehicle for under the market value and it is in excellent condition. I did a thorough walk around and probably looked like an idiot looking for the smallest dents and scratches. The vehicle has great options, panoramic roof and good quality materials, especially for the price. What a steal my wife got!!!!

This car exceeded my highest expectations. Very nice ride, appropriate amount of room and has a very sporty feel. Has a lot of extra features that make it over all a very nice care. The push gear buttons will take some time to get use to but over all very very cool.

I like the car, but the brakes are a little sensitive and the pick-up (from a stop) can be jerky. Otherwise, it is smooth, comfortable, and a quiet ride.
