Why it stands out
The 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 remains a strong contender in the full-size truck segment, notable for its combination of comfort, capability, and modern technology. Owners appreciate its smooth ride, luxurious feel, and array of features that elevate it beyond a typical work truck. Highlights include its optional powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine, which delivers strong performance, and the impressive towing capacity that meets the demands of serious work. However, some users have pointed out missing features such as backseat vents and basic safety options, causing some concerns about its value compared to competitors. 2018 GMC Sierra. Simply the best driving & riding truck I have ever owned. The magnetic ride sets it apart and was the reason I purchased a 2018 vs the newer body style without it. It’s also the reason I choose it over similar Ford and Dodge trucks.
