How much does the 2018 Dodge Challenger cost?

There are 1,614 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Dodge Challenger earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its performance, style, and comfort, and they also like the powerful engine choices and roomy interior. That lines up well with the Challenger’s role as a five-passenger coupe that aims to balance muscle-car personality with everyday usability. With 26.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive listing.

Is the 2018 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights dependable performance, with many drivers describing the car as a favorite for its strong engine options and comfortable cabin. For used buyers, that kind of satisfaction can be encouraging, but you should still focus on maintenance history and overall condition because long-term ownership risk depends heavily on how the car was driven and cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Dodge Challenger?

At 56% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership patterns. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on body panels, suspension, brakes, and signs of uneven wear that could point to harder use. Because the Challenger is a performance-oriented coupe, condition matters as much as mileage, so focus on how well the car has been maintained rather than just the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Dodge Challenger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.97% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $22,572, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $23,054 sits slightly below last year's $23,759.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, condition and documentation will matter a lot, because well-kept examples tend to hold buyer interest better than rougher ones. Strong owner satisfaction can also help support demand when it is time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 26.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.97% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $20,550, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $23,054 average.
• It leans hard into retro muscle-car style with a distinctly old-school personality.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and inventory. If your top priority is spending less up front, the 2017 is the better value-focused alternative.
