How much does the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica cost?

Prices have softened 9.83% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,691 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its advanced technology, spaciousness, and comfort, and many describe it as a well-equipped family minivan. That fits especially well if you want a practical people mover with a more upscale feel and flexible seating for everyday family use. With 32.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights dependable day-to-day comfort and a generally trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, even as some mention transmission reliability concerns. That means you should treat this as a used buy where condition and maintenance history matter, especially if you want to reduce long-term ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chrysler Pacifica?

At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection from a trusted mechanic. Focus on signs of prior body damage, uneven panel gaps, tire wear, and any transmission-related symptoms during the test drive. If a listing looks especially clean and well maintained, that can make a big difference in your confidence.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chrysler Pacifica?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,691 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.83% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,158, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica's resale value?

The current average of $13,159 sits slightly below last year's $14,593.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale performance will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. A clean history and strong presentation should matter more when you eventually go to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $11,614, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $13,159 average.
• It represents a clean-sheet redesign with a fresh, modern minivan identity.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want the stronger value balance between price, owner satisfaction, and current market availability. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2017 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
