Used 2018 Chrysler 300 for Sale nearOakland, CA

How much does the 2018 Chrysler 300 cost?

Prices have softened 4.33% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 722 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2018 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Chrysler 300 earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its luxurious feel, comfort, spacious interior, and quality features, and many also like its performance in snowy conditions when equipped with all-wheel drive. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy full-size sedan with a relaxed, upscale personality rather than a sporty one. With 27.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with drivers highlighting comfort, spaciousness, and a smooth, trouble-free feel in everyday use. That said, some owners have mentioned infotainment issues, so you should pay close attention to electronics and overall condition when evaluating a used example. For long-term ownership, the main risk is buying a car with unresolved wear or tech problems that could erode the value of an otherwise solid sedan.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chrysler 300?

At 53.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to bodywork, alignment, and any signs of past repairs. Because some owners have reported infotainment issues, make sure the cabin electronics, screen functions, and connectivity features all work as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chrysler 300?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 722 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.33% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,691, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $14,956 sits slightly below last year's $15,632.

That softer pricing suggests you may have a better entry point today than a year ago, but it also means future resale gains could be more limited if the market stays soft. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you can help protect value, especially because roomy, comfortable sedans still appeal to a defined group of shoppers. The biggest resale advantage will come from choosing a clean, well-kept example with desirable features and no accident history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $13,859, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $14,956 average.
• It offers a bold, luxurious large-sedan feel with plenty of power.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced choice, the 2018 is the stronger pick because it combines solid owner satisfaction with a softer price trend and a decent share of deal-priced listings. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2017 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in clean condition and can live with the older model year’s lower average price.
