Used 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD for Sale nearSpokane, WA

How much does the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD cost?

Prices have softened 4.05% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,615 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD a good car?

Yes — the 4.57/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the powerful diesel performance, smooth ride, comfort, fuel economy, reliability, and quality construction, while also noting useful amenities. For you, that means this truck makes the most sense if you want heavy-duty capability with a more polished, tech-friendly cabin than many work-focused pickups. With 30.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights reliability, quality construction, and a truck that many owners feel they can count on over time. That kind of feedback matters most if you plan to keep a used heavy-duty truck for years and want confidence in day-to-day ownership. Even so, long-term risk still depends on maintenance history and how hard the truck was used before you buy it.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD?

At 71.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any damage was structural, cosmetic, or repaired poorly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on signs of heavy use, uneven wear, and any issues tied to towing or work-duty abuse. Pay close attention to the cabin and controls as well, since owners have noted interior-space and comfort shortcomings.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD?

This is a moderate market, so you can buy now if the right truck appears, but selective shoppers still have leverage.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,615 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.05% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,932, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD's resale value?

The current average of $31,236 sits slightly below last year's $32,556.

That decline suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can help you if you're shopping now but may pressure future resale returns. If prices stay soft, sellers may need to be more competitive to move a truck quickly. Strong condition and a clean history will matter more when you eventually resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $30,455, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $31,236 average.
• It is built for heavy-duty work and adds job-site-friendly features.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want the stronger overall mix of value, owner satisfaction, and market availability. If your priority is saving money first, the 2017 is the better secondary path because it undercuts the 2018 on price while still staying focused on hard work.
