What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on condition, signs of hard use, and whether the car has been maintained consistently. Because this is a sports car with limited practicality, it also makes sense to pay close attention to wear, cosmetic condition, and how the car was stored or driven.

The current average of $60,526 sits slightly above last year's $57,702.

That upward move suggests the market has been willing to pay more for this model year, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. Strong demand can help support resale value, especially when the car has broad enthusiast appeal and a reputation for delivering a lot of performance for the money. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to trade or sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 4.89% year-over-year.
