Used 2016 Chevrolet Corvette for Sale nearOklahoma City, OK

How much does the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 4.42% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,097 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette earns a 4.9/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its exceptional performance, strong value for money, sleek design, and modern interior. That lines up with the Corvette’s use case as a true sports car: you’re buying it for speed, style, and a cabin that feels more updated than you might expect. The market also shows 32.1% of listings as good or great deals, which supports the case for shopping carefully and comparing examples.

Is the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in the ways that matter to enthusiasts: strong performance, lasting appeal, and a package many buyers feel good about living with over time. The expert evaluation also emphasizes the Corvette’s robust powertrain and its ability to deliver serious capability without feeling fragile. If you’re shopping used, the main ownership risk is less about the model’s core appeal and more about finding a well-kept example with the right equipment and condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Chevrolet Corvette?

At 74% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a close inspection of the body, interior, and equipment list. Because some owners mention unwanted smoke odor and some cars may have been used hard, condition matters as much as mileage. Pay extra attention to signs of wear, missing features, and whether the car has the options you want.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 1LT still delivers the Corvette’s core performance, while 2LT adds heated and ventilated seats, curb-view cameras, Bose audio, and a heads-up display. The 3LT adds leather surfaces, Napa leather seating, navigation, and the Performance Data Recorder, so it suits you best if you want the most complete cabin experience.
• Powertrain: The Corvette uses a 6.2-liter pushrod V8 with 455 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. It can run to 60 mph in under 4 seconds, and the 7-speed manual or 8-speed automatic both keep the car in its sweet spot.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes four airbags, side-impact airbags, a protective cell, four-wheel antilock brakes, automatic seat-belt pretensioners, and electronic stability control. Higher trims add front- and rear-facing cameras to help with parking and backing out.
• Infotainment: Dual 8-inch screens, Chevrolet MyLink, Apple CarPlay, and OnStar are part of the tech story. Android Auto is mentioned as coming later, and the system is designed to be bright and easy to use.
• Fuel efficiency: The Corvette uses cylinder deactivation and a tall 7th gear to help with highway cruising, but it still expects premium fuel and frequent fill-ups from its 18-gallon tank.

Which 2016 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2016 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Corvette’s core appeal: the V8, the dramatic styling, and the performance that defines the car. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and care most about driving experience.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds heated and ventilated seats, curb-view cameras, Bose audio, and a heads-up display. If you want a more comfortable and better-equipped daily driver without jumping all the way to the top trim, this is the one to focus on.
• 3LT: This is the most luxurious version, with leather surfaces everywhere, Napa leather seating, navigation, and the Performance Data Recorder. Choose it if you want the most complete cabin and the richest feature set.

Higher trims can also add front- and rear-facing cameras, which help with parking and backing out.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Chevrolet Corvette?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have room to shop, but the best examples still deserve quick action.

• Deal availability: 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,097 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.42% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 74.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $54,108, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $54,582 sits slightly below last year's $57,105.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also suggests future resale will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment. Well-kept examples with desirable options should hold up better than neglected cars, especially because the Corvette’s appeal is tied so closely to performance and presentation. If you buy smart and keep the car clean and well documented, you improve your odds of getting strong money back later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The Chevrolet Corvette has not been rated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The Corvette comes standard with four airbags, including side-impact airbags and a protective cell, plus four-wheel antilock brakes, automatic seat-belt pretensioners, and electronic stability control. Higher trims add front- and rear-facing cameras to help with parking and backing out. The main caveat is visibility: the low-slung shape and small windows limit outward sightlines, so you should expect to rely on the cameras and be extra careful in tight spaces.

Should I buy a 2016 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2016 stands out for its updated interior, strong performance, and the availability of Magnetic Ride Control across the lineup.

The bottom line: The 2016 Corvette is a strong choice if you want the C7’s mix of performance, style, and value while shopping a year with softened prices. If you’re price-sensitive, you can still find compelling alternatives in nearby years, but the 2016 is especially appealing when you want a well-rounded used sports car with a modernized cabin and serious speed.

How does the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette compare to the 2016 Ford Mustang?

Our experts score the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette 8.5/10 and the 2016 Ford Mustang 7.5/10.

The Corvette is the more expensive and more performance-focused choice, with a much stronger V8 and a higher expert score. The Mustang is far cheaper to buy used and offers more listings, but the Corvette delivers the more exotic driving experience and stronger overall value if your priority is performance. If you want the sharper sports car and can stretch your budget, the Corvette is the better pick; if affordability matters more, the Mustang is the easier entry point.
