Yes — the 2018 Audi Q7 earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2018 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable ownership experience, with repeated praise for the vehicle’s luxury, space, and performance. That kind of positive long-term sentiment matters when you’re shopping used, because it often reflects a vehicle that owners feel confident living with over time. For you, the main risk is less about broad satisfaction and more about making sure the specific used example has been maintained well.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Audi Q7?

At 71.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership patterns. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one priced near the low end of the market. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and how well the cabin and technology systems have held up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,713 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.32% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,167, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $16,167 sits slightly below last year's $18,439.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point if you plan to keep the SUV for several years. For a future seller, the softer current pricing means resale upside may be more limited in the near term unless the vehicle is especially clean, well maintained, and well equipped. Strong condition and a clean history will matter more if you want to protect value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $14,066, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $16,167 average.
• The redesign brought a lighter, more modern, and more practical Q7.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger balance of current-market value, owner satisfaction, and a more modern used-market profile, the 2018 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2017 is the more budget-friendly path and still gives you the Q7’s core strengths.
