Is the 2018 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a three-row luxury SUV that balances family use with a premium feel. Is the 2018 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with praise centered on its luxury, space, and performance. The repeated emphasis on comfort and advanced technology suggests many owners have found it easy to live with over time.

For used buyers, that kind of satisfaction can reduce long-term ownership risk, especially if you verify maintenance history and overall condition before buying.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Audi Q7?

At 71.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership history. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on the body, suspension, electronics, and interior wear. Because this is a luxury SUV, condition matters a lot, so focus on how well the vehicle has been maintained rather than just the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,701 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.02% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,297, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $16,297 sits slightly below last year's $18,736.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your future value will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and maintenance history. Well-kept examples should hold up better than average because buyers in this segment tend to reward clean, well-documented vehicles.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $14,343, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $16,297 average.
• It brings a redesigned return with more interior space and a lighter body.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and inventory, the 2018 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2017 is the more budget-friendly path and still offers many of the same core strengths.
