The 2017 Tesla Model S stands out as a luxury electric sedan that helped define the modern EV era. It was revolutionary for offering more than 200 miles of EV range, a minimalist interior, and an exterior design shaped more by aerodynamics than fashion. It also arrived with a huge 17-inch infotainment screen, and its long wheelbase and clever packaging gave it generous interior space. At the same time, the 2017 Tesla Model S is not without drawbacks. The buying guide notes poor build quality, and it also points out that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not available. Even so, the car’s strong performance, advanced technology, and sports car-style acceleration help explain why it remains such a compelling used EV.

I have been reading about this car since it was first built. I read the book about it called The Greatest Car Ever Made. So, I was already pretty hyped up and filled with high expectations. To say that this car still exceeded my expectations is an exciting and hard to believe thing. But there it is. The features have not disappointed. Everything works as advertised. It is fast, handles beautifully and is luxurious. Did I mention that it is F-A-S-T!! The app for my iPhone works seamlessly. We brought it home, plugged it in to your 220 outlet (which we were lucky to have had already installed in our garage, and it all just worked. We did try the 110 out of curiosity to see how long it would take to charge. That would not be a practice solution for anyone with a commute of more than 10 miles or so. The recommended max charge is 80%. In order to go from 40%_80%, it would take almost 2 days. So a 220 outlet of charging unit is necessary. The sheer beauty of this car is breathtaking. If you want the fastest, most sophisticated, most luxurious car money can buy, this in a great option. If you want it to be electric, then this is the ONLY one to buy.
