Used 2017 Nissan Murano for Sale near Oregon

How much does the 2017 Nissan Murano cost?

Prices have softened 12.46% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,276 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2017 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 4.71/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its luxurious feel, stylish design, and long list of features, and many also like the comfort and power, especially in higher trims. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a midsize SUV that emphasizes comfort, style, and a more premium-feeling daily drive. With 34.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2017 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable and trouble-free enough to recommend, especially when they value comfort and features over hard-edged utility. At the same time, some owners mention reliability concerns, so a careful used-car inspection matters if you want to reduce long-term ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Nissan Murano?

At 63.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can screen for accidents, title issues, and repeated claims. Put inspection priority on bodywork, panel alignment, and signs of prior repair, then focus on overall condition and maintenance records. If a listing looks especially clean, verify that the price reflects its history and not just its appearance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Nissan Murano?

This is a moderate market, so selective buyers can still find value if they compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,276 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.46% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,774, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $12,774 sits slightly below last year's $14,593.

That price movement suggests the Murano has softened in the used market, which can make it easier for you to buy at a reasonable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale upside may depend more on condition, mileage, and trim appeal than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should still attract attention, but you may need to price competitively if you want a quick sale.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.46% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $11,625, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $12,774 average.
• It emphasizes bold styling and strong visual character.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced buy, the 2017 is the stronger choice because it combines a lower current price than last year, solid owner satisfaction, and a healthy share of deal-priced listings. If your main goal is to spend less upfront, the 2016 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition and can live with its older-feeling overall package.
