Used 2018 Nissan Murano for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2018 Nissan Murano cost?

Prices have softened 10.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,411 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 4.75/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, smooth ride, elegant interior, stylish appearance, and high-tech features. That lines up well with the Murano’s comfort-first, style-forward role as a midsize SUV, especially if you want a refined daily driver rather than something focused on rugged utility or sporty handling. With 33.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding attractive pricing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that feels dependable in everyday use, with repeated praise for its smooth ride and comfort over time. Many shoppers describe it as a strong value for the money, which usually reflects confidence in how well it holds up as a used purchase. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is less about the overall ownership experience and more about buying a poorly maintained example, so condition and service history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Nissan Murano?

At 65.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership patterns before you get too far into the process. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to body condition, alignment, and any signs of prior repair work. You should also focus on overall wear inside and out, since a comfort-oriented SUV like this is best when the cabin, controls, and ride quality still feel well preserved.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Nissan Murano?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,411 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,948, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $13,948 sits slightly below last year's $15,519.

That price movement suggests the Murano has become more affordable for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than before. If you buy at a favorable price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your position when it comes time to sell. The model’s comfort-focused appeal and strong owner satisfaction should continue to support demand among shoppers looking for a refined midsize SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Murano makes the most sense if you want a comfort-first midsize SUV with strong owner approval and a softer used-car price than it had a year ago. If your priority is maximizing value, this year is worth a close look; if you want to be more price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, history, and asking price.
