There are 406 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2017 Lincoln Navigator a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Lincoln Navigator earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise the smooth ride, luxurious interior, spacious cabin, and strong sound system and navigation. The model also fits well if you want a full-size SUV with real towing and hauling ability, plus room for up to seven adults.

With 35.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a well-priced example.

Is the 2017 Lincoln Navigator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a dependable ownership experience centered on comfort, spaciousness, and features that continue to impress over time. The same feedback also points to a few minor used-car concerns, including running boards and the backup camera.

For used buyers, that means the long-term risk is less about the core vehicle concept and more about checking individual-condition items carefully before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Lincoln Navigator?

At 67.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and confirm whether prior damage affected structural areas or major systems. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the running boards, backup camera, and overall electrical operation.

Because this is a large luxury SUV, pay close attention to how the cabin, suspension, and convenience features have held up in real-world use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Lincoln Navigator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find value.

• Deal availability: 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 406 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.56% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,906, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $15,911 sits slightly below last year's $18,196.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $26,327, the 2018 costs more than the current year's $15,911 average.
• It brings a sharper redesign and a more distinctive luxury presence.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2017 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with strong owner satisfaction. If you want a newer-feeling design and are willing to pay significantly more, the 2018 is the better secondary path for buyers who prioritize style over savings.
