With more power, a new engine, and an impressive list of standards, the redesigned 2017 Lincoln MKZ aims to redefine “entry-level luxury.”

It’s not easy carving away loyalists from the German/Japanese luxury sedan segment, but a good way to start is with a 400-hp engine and a long list of standards that would cost you more from the competition. The Lincoln MKZ has been with us just 10 years, but has struggled due to its foundational and conceptual relation to the Ford Fusion and, according to Ford, resistance to the split-wing grille that has dominated the Lincoln brand in recent years. But with sales successes coming from the MKX and the Navigator, Lincoln has redesigned the MKZ with a new direction in mind, hoping it can continue the upward swing and finally cement itself as a luxury stalwart. To that end, Lincoln has given the MKZ a new front end, an exclusive new 3.0-liter V6 with class-leading power, and the new Sync 3 infotainment system, a big upgrade over the outgoing version.

Beautiful inside and out. Comfortable and quite ride. Tremendous power and pickup. Feather touch gas pedal and powerful V-6 sends you flying down the road. This roomy AWD sedan handles like a sports car. Lots of leg room even for passengers in the back. Navigation system with Bluetooth that lets you connect your cell for handsfree calling. Loaded with safety features with a 5-star safety rating. Blind spot detection, brake assist, lane assist, collision avoidance system, backup camera, and parking assist. Auto dim for the side and rearview mirrors. Memory for three driver seat and mirror settings.

I ended up purchasing this vehicle and it’s great. Very luxurious and fun to drive. The 3.0 V6 is worth the extra money over the 2.0 I4. Has a lot of nice features and super comfortable. Also is a great deal. I love my MKZ and love driving it

This is a beautiful car inside and out. It has every extra feature you could possibly want and more. It is a great highway road trip car, the level of comfort is superior from the heated and ventilated seats to the spaciousness provided in every zone. The ride is so smooth you dont even realize youre in a car. The power under the hood is also surprising. It may not look like it but you could keep up with or even surpass many sports cars. Also, I hit a deer and the car held up remarkably well, although I do not recommend doing so in yours should you buy one. Overall 10/10.

Ive really done my research with this one. Its a great value at $19,000, even though there was very little negotiation with the price. Its really a buyers market out there. This vehicle has all the features/options I was interested in and priced well below its current market value. As a luxury brand, I compared it to Cadillac, Lexus, Audi, BMW, Acura, and Jaguar. I discovered the MKZ had most all of the options the other brands had, but at a lower price point. The only options missing on the car was the premium stereo with 14 speakers, auto park, adaptive cruise, and a V6. I think I can deal with that. :0)
