How much does the 2017 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 3.03% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,439 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2017 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Honda Accord earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its smooth driving experience, great fuel economy, and stylish design, and many also value the comfortable interior. In practical terms, that makes it a strong fit if you want a well-rounded midsize sedan that works well for commuting, family use, and everyday driving. With 28.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also highlights reliability, dependable transportation, and a trouble-free ownership experience, which reinforces the Accord’s reputation for being a car you can count on. For used buyers, that usually means lower anxiety about long-term ownership risk, especially if you verify maintenance history and condition before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Honda Accord?

At 47.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any Accord you’re seriously considering and confirm whether prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body panels, alignment, tire wear, and signs of uneven repairs, since those can reveal past collision issues. It also helps to focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because a clean-looking car with incomplete history can still carry hidden risk.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Honda Accord?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,439 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.03% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 47.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,982, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $15,265 sits slightly below last year's $15,742.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become a bit more buyer-friendly in the near term, which can help you enter ownership at a reasonable cost. For future resale, the key is to buy a clean example at a sensible price so you have less depreciation room to absorb later. Strong condition and documented maintenance matter even more when the market has already moved down.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 47.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $14,327, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $15,265 average.
• It offers improved value with some worthwhile updates.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,824, the 2018 costs more than the current year's $15,265 average.
• It brings a fresh redesign with a more modern feel.

The bottom line: The 2017 is the best all-around choice if you want a balanced Accord with strong owner satisfaction and a softer current price. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2016 is the better value play. If you want a newer-feeling Accord and are willing to pay more, the 2018 is the upgrade path to consider.
