Used 2017 GMC Yukon for Sale nearVirginia Beach, VA

How much does the 2017 GMC Yukon cost?

Prices have softened 8.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,574 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 GMC Yukon a good car?

Yes — the 4.89/5 user rating points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the spacious interior, strong performance, and luxurious features, and many also see strong value for money compared with competitors. For you, that makes the Yukon a compelling choice if you want a large family hauler with a roomy cabin and a premium-feeling presence. With 35.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 4.89/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback emphasizes a dependable ownership experience, with praise centered on the vehicle’s strong performance and the confidence that comes from a well-liked, long-term family SUV. That kind of satisfaction usually matters most when you plan to keep a used vehicle for years rather than months.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about owner sentiment and more about finding a well-kept example, since condition and maintenance history will matter a lot on a large SUV like this.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 GMC Yukon?

At 63.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive.

Focus your inspection on overall condition, signs of past repairs, and how well the cabin and major systems have been maintained. On a full-size SUV like this, a careful review can help you avoid paying strong money for a vehicle that has hidden wear.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 GMC Yukon?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,574 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,714, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $21,714 sits slightly below last year's $23,675.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your future resale position.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.89/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.89/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2017 is the right path if you want a full-size SUV with strong owner approval and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may also be worth comparing, but the 2017 stands out when you want a balance of value, satisfaction, and available inventory.
