Used 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty for Sale nearDallas, TX

How much does the 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty cost?

Prices have softened 3.37% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,202 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its power, comfort, and towing capability, and they also like the rugged, work-ready feel along with the more stylish features. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a heavy-duty truck that can handle serious towing while still feeling more modern than a purely utilitarian work truck. With 28.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that feels dependable in the ways that matter most to heavy-duty buyers: strong power delivery, confident towing, and a rugged workhorse character. That said, some drivers wanted more thoughtful interior touches, and the model year drew criticism for the durability of various suspension components. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership can be rewarding, but you should pay close attention to maintenance history and wear items before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

At 68.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you go any further. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the suspension, steering, and underbody condition, since heavy-duty use can leave wear that is not obvious in photos. It also helps to focus on how the truck was used, because a well-maintained tow rig can be a much better buy than a lower-mileage truck with unclear history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value if you compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,202 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,028, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $38,208 sits slightly below last year's $39,541.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale gains may be limited unless you choose a well-kept example. If you plan to sell later, condition and documentation will matter a lot, especially on a truck that may have seen hard use. Strong maintenance records and clean history should help you protect value better than mileage alone.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2017 if you want a heavy-duty truck with strong owner satisfaction, modern features, and a market that still offers some deal opportunities. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2017 remains a smart target when you want capability and a more current feel in the same package.
