Why it stands out
The 2017 Dodge Challenger remains a formidable option in the muscle car segment, blending retro styling with modern performance capabilities. Its new GT trim introduces all-wheel drive, which enhances stability in various road conditions and caters to drivers looking for muscular performance without the tail-happy antics typical of most rear-wheel-drive sports cars. With a well-rounded V6 engine delivering 305 horsepower, the Challenger offers a smooth ride complemented by a user-friendly infotainment system, thanks to the standard Uconnect 8.4 system that includes navigation and real-time traffic features.
Owners commend the Challenger for its engaging driving experience, comfortable interiors, and spacious trunk, although some have pointed out limitations in rear-seat space and potential fuel costs associated with premium gas. Expert reviews mention its robust aesthetic design, likening it to a modern rendition of classic muscle cars, and praise its performance, despite highlighting that some engine options may feel underwhelming compared to peers. Overall, the Challenger’s performance, nostalgic styling, and solid technology integration make it appealing to buyers seeking both daily driving comfort and spirited performance.

Very retro! The SXT package with its 6 cylinder was plenty as the vehicle has plenty to keep it going, but it's more of a retro 70's showcar and still draws attention!
