Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.05% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $54,603, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $57,046 average.
• It emphasizes dramatic styling and serious performance.

The bottom line: Choose the 2017 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2016 is the better value-oriented path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
