How much does the 2017 Buick Envision cost?

Prices have softened 7.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 343 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2017 Buick Envision a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Buick Envision earns a 4.78/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its comfort, smooth ride, and stylish design, and many also appreciate its luxurious features and overall reliability. For you, that makes it a good fit if you want a quiet, well-equipped compact SUV with a more upscale feel than a typical mainstream crossover. With 34.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2017 Buick Envision reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners also describe it as reliable and appreciate its overall dependability, with several noting that it feels like a vehicle they can count on over time. That kind of feedback matters if you want a used SUV that should be easier to live with day to day. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure a specific example has been maintained well and checked carefully before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Buick Envision?

At 68.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus your attention on overall condition, signs of past repairs, and whether the vehicle feels consistent with its mileage and asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Buick Envision?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 343 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,094, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Buick Envision's resale value?

The current average of $13,276 sits slightly below last year's $14,379.

That price movement suggests the model has softened, which can make it easier for future buyers to find value but may also limit upside for sellers. If you plan to resell later, the current market points to a vehicle that should remain competitive, but not one that is likely to command a premium unless it is especially clean and well maintained. Strong condition and a clean history will matter more if you want to protect value over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is the better choice if you want a well-liked, comfort-focused Envision at a softer price point than newer examples. If your priority is stretching your budget, this year looks especially appealing; if you want the widest selection of cleaner listings, you may want to compare it carefully against nearby model years before deciding.
