Used 2017 BMW 5 Series for Sale near California
A fresh chassis, new engines, an updated iDrive interface, and a host of innovative technologies have BMW’s 5 Series coming out swinging for 2017 in an attempt to regain the top spot in the midsize luxury segment.
It’s easy to miss the changes with BMW’s tendency toward “evolutionary styling,” but in reality the 2017 5 Series is all new. High-strength lightweight materials means it grew in size but not in weight. New engines mean it increased power but not consumption. And a slight look to the past means the 5 Series just might be heading back in the direction of being a driver’s car again, even if it no longer offers a manual transmission.
4.5 Overall rating
(13 reviews)The 540i is a magnificent vehicle, and it looks like a dad car even though it can leave your daily WRX in the dust.
The size, performance, style and features of this car is great. You definitely get your money’s worth with this car.
This turned out to be a base model with almost zero extra features other than a sunshade and all wheel drive with the upgraded engine. However i was anticipating a luxury sedan and got a luxury performance sedan. I was greatly surprised with the acceleration coupled with the ride quality and numerous technology features. I am going from a 2011 Cadillac cts coupe performance trim and the bmw is comparable in ride quality, but head and shoulders above it in acceleration and braking ability.
The 5 series is an iconic executive car. No other car in its class has the same luxury, performance and quality.
I is a good car to have for me
