With a new 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder, the Jetta is no longer an also-ran in the compact sedan segment, offering performance and fuel economy to rival competitors like the Civic and Corolla. Add to that a new touchscreen interface and some additional safety options for accident avoidance, and the Jetta is definitely worth a look.
