Why it stands out
The 2016 Toyota Corolla remains a top contender in the compact car market, thanks to its balance of affordability and dependability. This generation of Corolla showcases an aggressive design, featuring a notable front fascia and the sporty S trim that appeals to a younger demographic. Under the hood, the Corolla offers a capable 1.8-liter inline 4-cylinder engine, generating 132 horsepower, with the LE Eco variant pushing that to 140 horsepower, ensuring efficient performance.
Its performance shines with an EPA-estimated 29 mpg in the city and 38 on the highway with the CVT, making it a practical choice for commuters. Inside, the Corolla boasts ample space for both front and rear passengers, combined with a straightforward and functional dashboard layout that drivers appreciate. Owners frequently commend the Corolla's fuel efficiency, smooth ride, and overall value, though some express a desire for more advanced tech features, such as smartphone integration options. Despite these limitations, the Corolla's reputation for reliability and cost-effectiveness keeps it appealing across various buyer demographics.

This is a fantastic car. Rides smooth, lots of space without being a massive car, excellent mileage, classy but affordable. Casual but practical. Any Toyota sedan is going to treat you incredibly. Reminds me a lot of my old Toyota Camry.
