Why it stands out
The 2016 Toyota 4Runner remains a formidable contender in the SUV market by staying true to its off-road roots in a landscape dominated by crossovers. Recognized for its reliability and powerful performance, the 4Runner captivates buyers looking for an adventure-ready vehicle that doesn't compromise on comfort. It boasts notable features such as a robust 4.0-liter V6 engine, advanced off-road technology like crawl-speed control and a locking rear differential, which enhance its rugged capabilities. Additionally, the spacious interior and strong resale value add to its appeal. However, potential buyers should consider its fuel economy and the absence of certain modern amenities, which some may find lacking compared to rival vehicles. Overall, the 4Runner strikes a balance between tradition and capability, making it a worthwhile option for those seeking an authentic SUV experience.

This is a solid vehicle. There are some minor issues that are all covered under the extended warranty except a broken taillight. The entire light assembly is 129$ and extremely easy to replace. The inside looks like its barely been used at 97k miles. Engine sounds good and the power is immediate when you touch the pedal.
