How much does the 2016 Porsche 911 cost?

There are 437 listings available, which gives you a meaningful but not oversized pool to compare.

Is the 2016 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its power, handling, and overall driving experience, and they also highlight comfort and reliability. The 911’s mix of sports-car performance and daily-driver usability makes it appealing if you want something that can work as both a weekend car and a more regular companion. With 35.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also emphasizes reliability, with owners describing the car as dependable and suitable for daily driving, even in challenging conditions. That kind of praise matters for a used sports car, because it suggests the 911 can deliver performance without feeling fragile in everyday use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the car’s basic durability and more about the cost of keeping a high-performance luxury model in top condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Porsche 911?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm the car’s background and look for any signs of prior damage or repeated repairs. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially because maintenance can be expensive on this kind of car. Focus on overall condition, service history, and how well the car has been cared for, since those factors matter a lot when you’re buying a used performance model.

What is the 2016 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $165,768 sits slightly above last year's $145,210.

That price movement suggests the 2016 911 has remained in demand, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. A model that holds buyer interest while staying relatively scarce can be easier to move when it’s time to trade in or list privately. Strong pricing also suggests that well-kept examples may continue to command attention from shoppers who want a classic sports car with broad appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 14.16% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the 911’s distinctive character, strong owner satisfaction, and a broad enough market to shop from, the 2016 is a solid primary choice. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year with a lower average price may be worth considering, but you should expect to trade off some of the 2016’s current market strength.
