Why it stands out
The 2016 Jeep Cherokee offers a compelling blend of comfort, versatility, and off-road capability, making it one of the most appealing SUVs in its class. Particularly in the Trailhawk variant, the Cherokee showcases impressive ruggedness while maintaining a smooth on-road experience. It features a robust 271-horsepower V6 engine that not only provides adequate power but also comes equipped with a stop/start system for improved efficiency. The 9-speed automatic transmission, while sometimes criticized for its performance, generally functions adequately in most driving conditions.
In terms of comfort, the interior is well-appointed with soft-touch surfaces and premium materials that impart a sense of luxury. User reviews frequently highlight the comfortable seating arrangements and the dynamic nature of the ride, which excels both in urban settings and rugged terrains. Nevertheless, potential buyers should be aware of some common concerns regarding engine and transmission reliability, which have surfaced among users. Overall, the 2016 Jeep Cherokee presents a reliable option for those seeking an SUV that can handle diverse driving demands.

My husband and I absolutely enjoy this new car of ours. This is the vehicle we want and need. The features are perfect and everything works great, though we had to replace the brakes, spark plugs , and a few other things. The vehicle is in excellent condition and still looks new. The interior is beautiful. It’s the best vehicle for all of the driving that we do.

Sits high, very easy to drive. Handles well, and has easy to see and read displays. Some road noise, but I think it is just the tires.
