Why it stands out
The 2014 Jeep Cherokee marks a significant departure from traditional Jeep aesthetics, replacing the boxy design with a more modern and curvaceous frame that some may find polarizing. Nonetheless, the Cherokee excels with a robust exterior and a high-quality and comfortable interior that features soft-touch materials and upscale controls. In terms of performance, the base 2.4-liter Tigershark engine, while offering adequate horsepower, can feel sluggish to some, leading potential buyers to opt for the more powerful 3.2-liter V6 found in higher trims. This V6 provides a more exhilarating driving experience paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission known for its efficiency. Moreover, the Cherokee’s capability in adverse weather conditions is commendable, making it an appealing choice for buyers needing reliability in a variety of driving scenarios. The safety features, including standard airbags and advanced technology options, add to its overall value, although some may assess the trade-off between power and performance as a limiting factor compared to rivals. This blend of comfort, capability, and advanced features makes the Cherokee a solid choice for those seeking a versatile crossover.

This car has tank-like features. This car has good value. This car is missing remote start. I would compare this vehicle to a Chevrolet Traverse.

This car is almost as capable as my 07 Jeep Wrangler and much more comfortable and quiet. The cost to operate is much cheaper and easier to drive. I like the standard SAT Rad and U connect is very easy to use. The Bluetooth was connected in about two minutes to my smart phone. Full size spare tire with TH option the others have cheater spare I think. The black leather seats with red stitching looks rich and the interior has many soft appointments that are well done. Bravo Jeep.
