Is the 2016 INFINITI QX60 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2016 INFINITI QX60 stands out as a three-row luxury SUV that emphasizes space, comfort, and family-friendly practicality, with a cabin designed to deliver minivan-like room and easy third-row access. It also offers a well-equipped interior and a balance of comfort, technology, and value that should appeal if you want a roomy luxury SUV for everyday family use. With 29.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 INFINITI QX60 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2016 INFINITI QX60 is described as practical and comfort-focused, but it also comes with a continuously variable transmission, which is a known weak point in this generation. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is worth taking seriously, especially if maintenance history is incomplete or the drivetrain has not been carefully inspected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 INFINITI QX60?

At 56.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report to confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you go any further. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the transmission, suspension, and signs of uneven wear or repair. Because this model is valued for comfort and family practicality, pay close attention to cabin condition, seat operation, and whether the third row and sliding second row work smoothly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 INFINITI QX60?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 586 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.24% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,819, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 INFINITI QX60's resale value?

The current average of $10,819 sits slightly below last year's $11,417.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can make resale a little more challenging if you buy at the wrong point in the range. If you plan to sell later, your best protection is to buy well, keep mileage and condition in check, and preserve service records. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers who want a spacious, well-equipped luxury SUV at a lower entry price.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 INFINITI QX60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $9,557, the 2015 costs less than the current year's $10,819 average.
• It offers a stylish cabin with upscale materials.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $11,558, the 2017 costs more than the current year's $10,819 average.
• It adds a roomier, more refined luxury feel.

The bottom line: The 2016 is the best primary pick if you want the strongest mix of value, equipment, and owner satisfaction. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2015 is the better budget path, while the 2017 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling take on the same formula.
