What should I look for when buying a used 2016 INFINITI QX60?

At 54% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage affected structural, suspension, or safety systems. Put inspection priority on the cabin electronics, climate controls, power features, and any signs of uneven wear, since this model’s value is tied heavily to comfort and equipment. A careful test drive should also focus on how smoothly the drivetrain behaves and whether the vehicle feels as refined as the listing suggests.

What is the 2016 INFINITI QX60's resale value?

The current average of $10,744 sits slightly below last year's $11,619.

That decline suggests the market has become a bit more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. Because the model is positioned around comfort, space, and standard equipment, resale strength will likely depend on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Listings that present cleanly and show strong service history should be easier to move than neglected examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 INFINITI QX60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $9,540, the 2015 costs less than the current year's $10,744 average.
• It emphasizes elegant styling and a polished cabin.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $11,472, the 2017 costs more than the current year's $10,744 average.
• It adds a more nimble feel with a car-based platform.

The bottom line: The 2016 is the best primary choice if you want the strongest mix of value, satisfaction, and current market availability. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2015 is the better budget path, while the 2017 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling alternative.
