Why it stands out
The 2016 Hyundai Tucson stands out in the crowded small crossover SUV market thanks to its combination of stylish design, practical interior, and a strong focus on safety. Its striking exterior, highlighted by a bold front fascia and an aerodynamic profile, makes it visually appealing compared to many rivals. The Tucson's interior is well-crafted, with an emphasis on user-friendly controls and upscale materials, providing comfort for both drivers and passengers. With cargo capacity expanded by 5.3 cubic feet and a total of 61.9 cubic feet with the seats folded down, practicality is a significant selling point. However, some users have expressed concerns over reliability, particularly relating to safety features and transmission performance. Despite these drawbacks, the Tucson’s solid safety ratings and strong warranty illustrate its value within the segment.

I really liked this vehicle when I took it for a test drive. The interior was clean, the original owner's manual was available, and it drove very smoothly. I wasn't able to test it at highway speeds because I was in a School Zone. I definitely would have bought it, but I couldn't justify the need for it. Some lucky person will snatch it up, I'm sure.

Worst car Ive ever owned. 3 out of 4 doors stopped working (couldnt open or close them), leaks oil, transmission overheats when backing up an incline slowly, AC died after 80K km, Im just waiting for the transmission to fail as that is a well know problem and car jerks or doesnt move upon initial acceleration. DO NOT BUY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Consumer Reports gives reliability as 1 out of 10 (likely only because you cant give zero)

I think this car is a very good for its price, the interior is so good. Only issue so far, is that the fuel consumption is quite high.
