Generally — the 4.2/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. Owners consistently praise its impressive towing capability, strong power, and overall durability, and they also highlight its comfort and spacious interior for both work and everyday use. For you, that means this truck fits best if you want a heavy-duty pickup that can handle serious jobs without feeling stripped down. Is the 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback emphasizes durability, and it also points to a truck that many buyers feel confident using for demanding work and regular driving. That kind of reliability reputation matters most if you plan to keep the truck for the long haul and depend on it for towing or hauling. For used buyers, the main risk is choosing a truck with a hard life, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from trucks with accident records. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the frame, suspension, bed, towing hardware, and interior wear, since this model is often used for demanding work. Focus on overall condition and evidence of consistent maintenance, especially if you want a truck that can keep doing heavy-duty duty without surprises.

If you find a listing below $30,290, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $30,290 sits slightly below last year's $33,080.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the truck has been maintained. Heavy-duty trucks can hold demand well when they’re clean and well cared for, but rough use can quickly weaken your return.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.43% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2016 if you want a capable heavy-duty truck with strong owner approval and a softer price than it had a year ago. If you’re especially price-sensitive, it’s still worth comparing nearby years to see whether a cleaner or better-equipped truck fits your budget more comfortably.
