Why it stands out
The 2016 Dodge Challenger is a standout in the muscle car segment, primarily due to its combination of classic aesthetics and modern engineering. Its powerful engine options, starting with a 3.6-liter V6 offering 305 hp and reaching up to a formidable supercharged 6.2-liter V8 in the Hellcat trim, provide exhilarating performance and driving excitement. For 2016, the addition of fresh trim options and the iconic shaker hood enhances its heritage appeal. While it excels with a spacious, comfortable interior and good visibility, some may find its interior materials less refined compared to competitors. That said, the Challenger's robust performance, distinct retro design, and practical functionality make it an appealing choice for buyers looking for a true American muscle car experience.

If you’re looking for a V8 5.7L Hemi but don’t want to spend $35-40k on a newer one, go for the 2016 if you can find one that’s been well maintained. Definitely worth it. Great and fun little bump up in power from my 2022 V6 SXT Challenger. It punches more and handles great. Interior is almost the same except for the dash is a harder plastic than the newer models and has a slightly rougher pattern to it. No carplay but installing that soon. Besides that you can’t tell the difference between the 2016 and newer models.

This is my 3rd Challenger, and I’ve loved them all. This particular deal had the car below the average price, and it was a manual, which was exactly what I wanted.
