At 59.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership history. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to body condition, signs of prior repair, and how the vehicle drives and shifts. Because this model is often chosen for comfort and family use, you should focus on cabin condition, seat wear, and whether everything works as expected inside.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Buick Enclave?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,629, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $10,629 sits slightly below last year's $11,638.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. The current market trend points to steady demand rather than a sharp premium, so condition and history will matter a lot when it is time to resell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• At 59.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.67% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a strong choice if you want the Enclave’s comfort, space, and upscale feel at a relatively approachable price. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2016 stands out as a balanced option when you want a roomy three-row SUV with solid owner approval and a softer market price.
