Yes — the 4.75/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2016 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes that the Enclave feels comfortable, dependable, and well suited to everyday use, with many drivers highlighting its smooth ride and luxury touches. That combination suggests it can be a reassuring choice if you want a used SUV you can count on for family duty.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been cared for well, since condition and maintenance history matter more than the model’s overall reputation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Buick Enclave?

At 61.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with past damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has any accident history or incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and how well the vehicle’s family-friendly features still function in real use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Buick Enclave?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 823 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.76% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,721, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $10,794 sits slightly below last year's $11,830.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already moved through a meaningful portion of its depreciation curve, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price. If you pay close to the lower end of the range, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss when it comes time to sell. Strong demand for well-kept examples can also help support value, especially when buyers see a desirable mix of comfort, space, and features.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a comfortable, spacious three-row SUV with strong owner approval, the 2016 is a sensible target year. It makes the most sense if you can find a clean, well-kept example at a competitive price. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, history, and asking price.
