Used 2016 BMW 7 Series for Sale nearRaleigh, NC

How much does the 2016 BMW 7 Series cost?

Prices have softened 9.23% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 404 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 BMW 7 Series a good car?

Yes — the 4.75/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the powerful engine, luxurious interior, and advanced technology, and they also highlight the smooth driving experience and comfort on long trips. For you, that makes this a compelling choice if you want a full-size luxury sedan that emphasizes performance and comfort. With 30.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 BMW 7 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many people feel good about living with over time, especially because reviewers describe it as dependable for comfort, performance, and long-distance use. That said, used luxury sedans can carry higher ownership risk if maintenance history is incomplete, so you should pay close attention to service records and overall condition before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 BMW 7 Series?

At 57.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you get too far into the process. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury sedan where repair costs can climb quickly if prior damage or deferred maintenance is hiding underneath the surface. Focus on overall condition, not just mileage, because a well-kept example is likely to be a better ownership experience than a cheaper car with unresolved issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 BMW 7 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 404 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.23% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,764, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 BMW 7 Series's resale value?

The current average of $17,764 sits slightly below last year's $19,570.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale a little more challenging if depreciation continues at the same pace. If you buy now, your best protection is choosing a clean, well-documented example that will stay attractive to the next buyer. Strong condition and a good ownership record matter more when the segment is full of expensive, feature-rich alternatives.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 BMW 7 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want a flagship luxury sedan with strong owner approval and a softer price than it had a year ago, the 2016 is a sensible target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price.
