Used 2016 Audi Q3 for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2016 Audi Q3 cost?

Prices have softened 8.27% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 452 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Audi Q3 a good car?

Generally — the 2016 Audi Q3 earns a 4/5 user rating and a 6/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 8/10.

You’re looking at Audi’s smallest SUV, so the appeal is strongest if you want a compact footprint, a refined cabin, and a premium feel without moving up to a Q5 or Q7. The Q3’s quiet interior and nimble handling help it feel polished, but the overall package is fairly stripped down, so it makes the most sense if you value core virtues over a long list of extras.

37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Audi Q3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Q3’s appeal comes from its rock-like quality, quiet cabin, and the kind of refined driving feel you’d expect from Audi. Its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder is described as responsive and refined, and the ride is hushed and isolated, which supports the impression of a well-built small luxury SUV.

The flip side is that the Q3’s value proposition is narrow, and its limited feature set means you should pay close attention to how well a used example has been maintained and equipped. For used buyers, the biggest long-term ownership risk is ending up with a car that feels expensive to own without delivering enough equipment or utility to justify it.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Audi Q3?

At 61.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually strong. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the car’s equipment matches what you expect for the trim you’re considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Q3’s cabin is described as clean and citified, but also fairly basic and even a bit boring, and the standard panoramic moonroof helps brighten the otherwise all-black interior. Base equipment is limited enough that you should pay close attention to whether the car has the features you want.
• Powertrain: The 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder delivers 200 hp with minimal lag, and the 6-speed automatic helps it launch quickly and smoothly. The quattro all-wheel-drive system is the version you’ll most likely find, and the driving feel is lively, direct, and refined.
• Safety package: The Technology package adds blind-spot monitoring and a color display, while the Prestige trim includes the Technology package. The Q3 does not offer a collision warning system, and that gap is part of why it no longer qualified for 2016 recognition.
• Infotainment: Without the Technology package, there’s not much happening inside, and even the instrument panel display is monochrome. The package adds navigation with traffic overlays, Audi Connect, Google Earth topography, 3-D cities, onboard Wi-Fi, local fuel prices, parking info, and weather.
• Fuel efficiency: The Q3 returned 23 mpg in testing and is EPA-rated at 20 mpg city/28 highway.

Which 2016 Audi Q3 trim should I buy?

The 2016 Audi Q3 is offered in 2 trim levels: Premium Plus and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium Plus: This is the better-value choice if you want the core Q3 experience without stretching for the top trim. It gives you the compact luxury feel, the standard panoramic moonroof, heated power front seats, xenon headlamps, and push-button start with keyless entry, while leaving room to add the Technology package if you want more connectivity and driver-assistance features.
• Prestige: This is the trim to choose if you want the most complete Q3 you can get. It includes the Technology package and adds a power tailgate, larger 19-inch wheels, LED headlamps, and a 14-speaker Bose stereo, making it the best fit if you want the most convenience and equipment.

The Technology package is the key safety and convenience upgrade, since it adds blind-spot monitoring and the color display.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Audi Q3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 452 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,296, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Audi Q3's resale value?

The current average of $11,296 sits slightly below last year's $12,314.

That softer pricing suggests the Q3 has already absorbed some of its near-term depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price. If you purchase near the lower end of the range and keep the car in clean condition, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2016 Audi Q3 safe?

The 2016 Q3 is a 2015 Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and scored Good in all five crash tests.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi’s named driver-assistance suite here is the Technology package, and it adds blind-spot monitoring along with a color display. The Q3 does not offer a collision warning system, and that missing feature is the main safety caveat to keep in mind.

Should I buy a 2016 Audi Q3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2016 Q3 stands out as Audi’s smallest SUV, with a quiet interior, nimble handling, and a lower price than larger Audi SUVs.

The bottom line: If you want the most affordable path into this generation of Audi SUV and you value compact size, a refined cabin, and a premium badge, the 2016 is the one to target. If you’re shopping mainly on price, look for a clean, well-equipped example near the low end of the range; if you want more features, make sure the right package is included before you commit.
