Used 2015 Toyota Tundra for Sale nearJacksonville, FL

How much does the 2015 Toyota Tundra cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 1,162 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2015 Toyota Tundra a good car?

Generally — the 2015 Toyota Tundra earns 4.2/5 from owners and 7.8/10 from experts. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Drivers consistently praise its power, reliability, and comfortable ride, and many also call out its strong towing and heavy-work capability. The Tundra’s full-size-truck appeal is strongest if you want a rugged, distinctive truck with a strong presence, though the overview also points to a thirsty engine and a cabin that can feel less modern than rivals. With 32.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Toyota Tundra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights reliability, and drivers also describe the truck as dependable and strong over time. The expert notes reinforce that theme by calling out dependable long-term ownership prospects, and the cost-effectiveness notes add that Toyota includes free scheduled maintenance for the first 2 years or 25,000 miles of ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a truck with this much capability can also bring higher fuel and upkeep costs if it has been worked hard.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Tundra?

At 54.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a careful inspection of body panels, frame areas, and signs of hard use. Because this is a full-size truck that may have been used for towing or hauling, condition matters as much as mileage. Pay extra attention to how the truck was maintained, whether the cabin and cargo areas show heavy wear, and whether any prior damage was repaired cleanly.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The TRD Pro stands out with Toyota Racing Development off-roading hardware, including upgraded shocks, a higher ride height, a front skid plate, dual exhaust, and styling enhancements. It is especially appealing if you want the most distinctive, recreation-focused version, while the notes also make clear that some equipment, including blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, is not available on the TRD Pro.
• Powertrain: The truck uses a 5.7-liter V8 with 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The performance notes emphasize strong power across the rev range, a Tow/Haul mode, and a part-time 4-wheel-drive system with Active Traction Control.
• Safety package: Safety Connect is not available on any Tundra trim. A blind-spot monitoring system with rear cross-traffic alert is available in some versions, but not the TRD Pro. A reversing camera is standard.
• Infotainment: The TRD Pro gets a 7-inch touchscreen with navigation, HD Radio, traffic and weather data services, iTunes song-tagging capability, a quick-charge USB port, and smartphone app integration through Entune App Suite. Buyers cannot upgrade that system to the JBL premium audio system offered in other versions.
• Fuel efficiency: The truck is rated at 13 mpg city and 17 mpg highway, with a 15-mpg combined estimate.

Which 2015 Toyota Tundra trim should I buy?

The 2015 Toyota Tundra is offered in 1 trim level: TRD Pro.

Here's the short version:

The TRD Pro is the standout choice if you want the most distinctive Tundra, with suspension upgrades, off-road hardware, and a more aggressive look. It suits you best if you value personality and capability over fuel economy or the latest safety tech. The safety notes also make clear that Safety Connect is unavailable, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is not offered on the TRD Pro.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota Tundra?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,162 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,842, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Toyota Tundra's resale value?

The current average of $23,822 sits slightly above last year's $23,740.

That small increase suggests the Tundra has held its value fairly well, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. Stable pricing also points to steady demand rather than a sharply weakening market. For a future seller, that means a clean, well-kept truck should remain easier to move than one with accident history or obvious wear.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Toyota Tundra safe?

The 2015 Toyota Tundra earns four-star ratings from NHTSA and Good ratings from IIHS.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota’s Safety Connect services are not available on any Tundra trim, and the notes also say blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is available in some versions but not the TRD Pro. A reversing camera is standard. The safety write-up also notes that IIHS small overlap frontal testing had not been assessed.

Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Tundra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• Aside from a thirsty engine and a lack of key safety features, the 2015 Tundra remains a worthy alternative to the most popular full-size trucks.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $22,419, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $23,822 average.
• It feels especially well matched to real truck use.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $25,152, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $23,822 average.
• It adds an upgraded Entune system, a larger gas tank, and an integrated brake controller on upper trims.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of personality, capability, and current-market value, the 2015 is the right place to start. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2014 can save you money up front, while the 2016 is worth a look if you want a few useful updates and don’t mind paying more.

How does the 2015 Toyota Tundra compare to the 2015 Ford F-150?

Our experts score the 2015 Toyota Tundra 7.8/10 and the 2015 Ford F-150 8.8/10.

The Tundra brings stronger V8 power and a more distinctive, rugged personality, while the F-150 is the more efficient and more widely available choice. The Ford also has a lower average used price and a higher accident-free share, which makes it easier to shop and potentially easier to live with. If you want the truck with the stronger value proposition and broader market support, the F-150 has the edge; if you want the more characterful full-size truck, the Tundra is the more memorable pick.
