Summary
With 925 currently listed for sale and an average price of $15,494, 29.1% of 2015 Toyota Siennas for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2015 Toyota Sienna 4.78 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it an 8.5 / 10.

Why it stands out
The 2015 Toyota Sienna stands out as a notably improved version of Toyota’s minivan, with the update making it, for the first time in its history, more appealing than the Honda Odyssey. It does not look very different from the previous model, but it brings numerous upgrades and improves in almost every respect. Safety is singled out as one of the most important areas of progress, which helps explain why this version is viewed as the best yet.
That broader appeal is reinforced by owner feedback, which points to reliability, spaciousness, and a strong feature set as major strengths. Drivers also praise its roomy interior, good power, and ease of maintenance. On the downside, some owners mention concerns about the suspension system and lower bumpers, so while the 2015 Toyota Sienna is widely seen as a highly capable family vehicle, it is not without a few practical drawbacks.

I just buy it, so far everything good, my only complaint is about that front and back bumper are too low.

This car is the best family car Ive had: 8 passengers capacity, roomy leg space, large cargo area. Its quiet inside and quick to accelerate. It drives very comfortably and safely with eather trim, GPS navigation, Bluetooth, parking censor, and many other good features. I expect it to last for a long time because of the reputation of Toyota and this particular model was praised on Consumer Reports.

Is the 2015 Toyota Sienna a good car?
Yes — you’re looking at a model that owners rate 4.78/5, and our experts give it 8.5/10. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.
Owners consistently praise its reliability, spaciousness, and impressive features, along with the roomy interior, good power, and ease of maintenance. That lines up well with the Sienna’s family-first mission, especially if you want a practical minivan that’s easy to live with and well suited to hauling people and gear.
With 30.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s still room to shop selectively.
Is the 2015 Toyota Sienna reliable?
Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback points to reliability, and drivers also describe the Sienna as easy to maintain and dependable for everyday family use. The expert evaluation reinforces that long-term confidence by noting improved ownership outlook and free scheduled maintenance during the first couple of years of ownership.
For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core reputation and more about finding a well-kept example that hasn’t been worn down by family-duty mileage and use.
What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Sienna?
At 53.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the van has seen heavy family use or higher mileage. Pay close attention to body condition, suspension behavior, and any signs of wear around the lower front areas. It’s also smart to confirm that the safety and convenience equipment works as expected, since feature content can vary by trim.
Key things to evaluate:
- Trim level: The Limited Premium stands out with power sliding doors, power folding third-row seats, front and rear sunroofs, a navigation system with live traffic information, a rear-seat entertainment system, and a JBL audio system. It’s the most feature-rich choice, while lower trims will leave out some of those comfort and convenience upgrades.
- Powertrain: The 3.5-liter V6 makes 266 hp and works with a 6-speed automatic transmission. It delivers smooth acceleration, and the all-wheel-drive setup is a useful advantage if you want extra traction.
- Safety package: The Sienna can be equipped with blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, dynamic radar cruise control, and Pre-Collision System. Safety Connect is reserved for the Limited model.
- Infotainment: The Entune system uses a 7-inch display, and the setup includes a premium JBL audio system, navigation, advanced voice recognition, USB 2.0 fast-charge ports, and connectivity apps. The rear-seat entertainment system can play DVD or Blu-Ray discs and supports HDMI input jacks.
- Fuel efficiency: The EPA says to expect 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway, with 21 mpg combined. The expert test vehicle returned 20.1 mpg.
Which 2015 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?
The 2015 Toyota Sienna is offered in 1 trim level: Limited Premium.
Here's the short version:
The Limited Premium is the clear choice if you want the most complete version of the Sienna, with the richest comfort, entertainment, and convenience content. It’s the best fit if you plan to keep passengers happy on long trips and want the most upscale feel this model year offers.
The safety content also notes that Safety Connect is reserved for the Limited model, so this trim has an important advantage if that feature matters to you.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota Sienna?
This looks like a moderate, selective-buyer market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.
- Deal availability: 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 932 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 53.6% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $14,731, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Toyota Sienna's resale value?
The current average of $15,489 sits slightly above last year's $15,465.
That small increase suggests the Sienna has held value well enough to avoid a meaningful drop in market interest. For a future seller, that kind of stability is helpful because it points to steady demand rather than a softening market.
The model’s strong owner satisfaction also supports resale strength, since shoppers tend to respond well to vehicles with a good reputation for family use and day-to-day practicality.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Is the 2015 Toyota Sienna safe?
The 2015 Toyota Sienna earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the IIHS and five-star ratings from NHTSA.
It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.
Toyota equips the Sienna with blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, dynamic radar cruise control, and Pre-Collision System. The van also benefits from an updated airbag system and extra LATCH anchors for securing child seats.
One caveat to keep in mind is the IIHS small-overlap frontal-crash result, which came in at Acceptable rather than the top score.
Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 53.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
- It brings major safety and technology upgrades that make it the strongest Sienna of this generation.
Consider the 2014 if:
- At $12,876, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $15,489 average.
- It emphasizes utility and functionality for practical family use.
Consider the 2016 if:
- At $17,546, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $15,489 average.
- It adds Siri Eyes Free for iPhone users and expands the tech appeal.
The bottom line: If you want the best all-around version of this minivan, the 2015 is the one to target. If your priority is spending less, the 2014 is the value play, while the 2016 makes sense if you want the newer tech upgrade and are willing to pay more.
