Is the 2015 Nissan Frontier a good car?

Generally — the 4.43/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. If you want a straightforward midsize pickup that emphasizes utility and value over the latest features, the Frontier fits that use case well. With 30.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Nissan Frontier reliable?

Owners rate it 4.43/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights dependability and a trouble-free ownership experience, which is exactly what you want from a used truck you plan to keep for years. That said, you should still expect normal age-related wear on a model that has been on the market for a long time, so a careful inspection matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Nissan Frontier?

At 64.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from trucks with past damage. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage or lower-priced listing. Focus on overall condition, signs of hard use, and whether the truck’s equipment and maintenance history match how you plan to use it.

What is the 2015 Nissan Frontier's resale value?

The current average of $14,231 sits slightly below last year's $14,288.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable, which can help future sellers because values are not swinging sharply. If you buy well and keep the truck in good condition, you’re more likely to preserve a reasonable share of your purchase price. Demand should also stay supported by the model’s strong owner satisfaction and practical reputation.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.43/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Nissan Frontier or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.43/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $13,567, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $14,231 average.
• It has a rugged, traditional truck feel suited to recreation.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $15,244, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $14,231 average.
• It adds a sunroof on SV trims and keeps a proven setup.

The bottom line: The 2015 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced mix of price, owner satisfaction, and market availability. If your priority is spending less, the 2014 is the better value-oriented path; if you want a slightly newer truck and can pay more, the 2016 is the alternative to compare.
