Used 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE for Sale nearFort Lauderdale, FL

Is the 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE a good car?

Yes — 5/5. The expert rating is 8.17/10. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

The 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE is framed as Jaguar’s first true sports coupe in four decades, and its appeal is rooted in that focused sports-car mission. The overview describes it as a spiritual successor to the legendary E-Type, and the expert summary says it “keeps getting better” and has “done nearly everything right,” which fits a car built to make a strong impression rather than chase practicality.

That makes it a compelling choice if you want a coupe with a clear performance identity and a lot of character. 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is at least some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview and expert notes both point to a car that feels well sorted for its mission, with only a few small issues left to fix. The expert summary also suggests the F-TYPE has “done nearly everything right,” which supports the idea that the core package is strong even if it is not flawless.

The performance notes also suggest the car is mechanically serious and rewarding, with a quick automatic transmission and a chassis that feels composed in normal driving. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a high-performance sports car can be expensive to keep in top shape, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE?

At 69.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a full vehicle-history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on cars that have been modified or heavily optioned. Focus on body condition, brake wear, tire condition, and whether the car’s electronics and driver aids work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base F-TYPE already brings 340 hp and 332 lb-ft from a supercharged 3.0-liter V6, while the S raises output to 380 hp and 339 lb-ft. The R adds a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 with 550 hp and 502 lb-ft, so the biggest gap at the lower end is power and equipment rather than the basic sports-car character.
• Powertrain: The lineup includes a supercharged 3.0-liter V6, a supercharged 5.0-liter V8, and a ZF 8-speed automatic. The performance notes say the car responds sharply in Dynamic mode, while Normal is calmer and Snow reduces torque for traction.
• Safety package: The safety content lists dual front and side airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners, a limited-slip differential, high-performance brakes with emergency brake assist, traction and dynamic stability control, and optional adaptive front lights, front sensors, a rear camera, and a blind-spot monitor. Some of those features are optional rather than standard.
• Infotainment: The tech content mentions InControl Apps, a Meridian stereo, and blind-spot monitoring with a rear parking camera. Voice control is noted as absent, and the app system is described as limited and finicky.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA estimates are 19 mpg city/27 highway/22 combined.

Which 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE trim should I buy?

The 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE is offered in 3 trim levels: F-TYPE, F-TYPE S, F-TYPE R.

Here's the short version:

• F-TYPE: This is the entry point, but it still brings the core F-TYPE experience with 340 hp and 332 lb-ft from the supercharged V6. It makes sense if you want the styling and performance image without chasing the highest output.
• F-TYPE S: This is the best-value trim because it adds a meaningful jump to 380 hp and 339 lb-ft, and the test car’s available packages show how well this trim can be equipped. If you want the sweet spot between price and performance, this is the one to target.
• F-TYPE R: This is the full-throttle choice, with the supercharged V8 and 550 hp plus 502 lb-ft. Buy this if you want the most dramatic version and care most about outright performance.

The safety content notes that features such as adaptive front lights, front sensors, a rear camera, and a blind-spot monitor are optional, so check carefully for those items on any used example.

The safety content says the car comes with dual front and side airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners, a limited-slip differential, high-performance brakes with emergency brake assist, traction and dynamic stability control, and optional adaptive front lights, front sensors, a rear camera, and a blind-spot monitor. That means the safety story is more about equipment and driver aids than formal crash-test validation.

Should I buy a 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 69.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The expert summary says it “keeps getting better” and has “done nearly everything right.”

Consider the 2016 if:

• It keeps the same sports-car focus but adds a clearer sense of everyday livability.

The bottom line: If you want the more distinctive and potentially better-priced entry into the F-TYPE experience, the 2015 is the one to chase. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer example and want the slightly more refined package, the 2016 is the safer secondary path for price-sensitive buyers who still want the same core appeal.
